LePub NY Appoints First CCO

The new New York office of LePub has appointed its first CCO, Jim Curtis.

Tldr: Another white dude gets a CCO role.

Curtis, most recently global executive vice president and executive creative director at McCann Worldgroup, will start May 27 and report to LePub’s global CEO and chief creative officer, Bruno Bertelli.

Curtis joins at an important moment for LePub, which officially set up shop in New York in January with Heineken and Barilla as founding clients. He’ll work with president Lea Mastroberti and chief strategy officer Katy Alonzo.

Curtis’ appointment adds to a growing leadership bench in New York, which includes recently named TBWA\Chiat\Day alumni Jexy Holman and Nuno Teixeira as executive creative directors, along with Droga5 alum Lorna Ruane as head of data and culture lab.

We’ll spare you the generic quotes and stuff. Have you worked with this guy? He definitely looks like he was in a frat. Let us know in the comments.
