Popular sports betting brand FanDuel, in a RARE move, is dumping the agency everyone wants to work at: Wieden & Kennedy.
To be fair they had a pretty good four years relationship with WK creating their “Kick of Destiny” Super Bowl campaigns including the recent campaign with the Manning brothers.
FanDuel Sportsbook had measured U.S. media spending of $240 million in 2024, down from $263 million in 2023, according to MediaRadar. During the 2025 Super Bowl, which occurred after the fourth quarter ended, FanDuel reported its customers wagered $470 million on 17.7 million bets.
This is the second reported account loss from WK as they recently lost Visa and laid off around 35 people.
